My favorite pho spot. I will always get the #25 - I recommend just getting an extra large for $1 more. The spring rolls are crisp and tasty. Quick service and very efficient.

My favorite pho spot. Have been dining here since I was a child with my fam. They lack on service but it's definitely not intentional. Just a different style of fast service. Food never misses. Too recommend. Also best hangover spot lol

An oldie but goodie. Came here to get my pho on and it hit the spot. I got pho with beef and tendon. It came with all the optional fixings such as basil and bean sprouts. Place is affordable and quick. Not a place for date night but solid Vietnamese cuisine. The spring rolls were a little over fried for me. Next time, I'll get the summer roll. Service was super fast for sit down or take out.

Came here with a large group of 9 people for lunch on a Saturday. Honestly pretty good pho spot. Very very casual but authentic. Parking lot and the restaurant tend to get busy but people are in and out. The staff speak Viet so you know it's authentic. Service is quick. If anything we were taking a long time to order and they were getting inpatient with us. Pho soup is flavorful and not too salty. Side sauce enhanced the flavor. Noodle and beef meat portion is fairly equal. I got the large size. Giving it a 4 star because it's so casual and potentially not the cleanest. But I would definitely come back!

This place is one of the remaining legit Vietnamese places run by Vietnamese vendors. This place is efficient and no frills, and most items are decent. The pho soup is the best in the area, too bad they don't have other soup noodle options (e.g. bun rieu, bun bo hue). Some of the pork items are a bit dry, but pork chop is better.

What a find! This place doesn't look like much but it certainly was packed full. Service was moving hyper fast and we were seated after a two minute wait, got our water and drinks and went into the huge menu. For appetizer we're had the shrimp summer roll. Decent roll but nothing noteworthy. For the main course, I opted for the spicy broth pho and the lovely lady had steak with sautéed onions. We love to share each other's dishes so we set it up family style. One thing that really surprised me was the "broken rice". It was a very unique and short grain rice cooked perfectly and absorbed the delicious flavors of anything you eat it with. Onto the main courses, first, the pho was so packed full of flavor I couldn't believe it. The noodles, broth, meat, vegetables all came together so harmoniously I couldn't stop eating. It had just the right amount of heat and spice, we literally drank it all down to the bottom. Second, the steak was undeniably one of the most tender we've ever had. It was served over some broad lettuce leaves and with the most incredible glaze. Along with the rice we gobbled up everything with such gusto I barely had time to snap these photos.

Go. Just go. Freezing outside and need to warm up? Hungover and need to restore your electrolytes? Want to feel like you're back in SouthEast Asia trying to "find yourself" after quitting your job? Pho Bang is the perfect place for that. I came on an unassuming Wednesday afternoon Brooklyn after biking in. I wasn't expecting much since most Sunset Park and Chinatown joints have very bland and salty broths that don't fully properly represent the 16 hours of labour that the broths usually take. Upon entering, I was directed immediately to what would be a communal table with other solo stragglers trying to get their pho fix. Service was quick all around, and it took a total of three minutes for my regular sized pho to get to me. It came in the usual way with a side of bean sprouts, wedge of lemon, and thai basil leaf. Also, Pho Bang has no awareness of the Sriracha shortage, and the bottles were not in short supply, so I went to town. The bowl I got was 11.50$ which is a complete bargain for the dac biet (special) that comes with everything (though it was missing the beef meatballs, which are usually not my favourite anyway). You can opt for a small or large for about a dollar and a half more or less. The broth was some of the best I've had in the city from a mom and pop shop. My only gripe was that I would have liked for the soup to be more scalding hot, but I think it was the perfect hot temperature to slightly cook the raw beef slices. I'm already thinking about when I can come back and have the proper large size.

I only come here because they tend to open earlier than all the other pho shops in the area. Sometimes when I'm craving food in the morning, I make a stop here. The service is quick. You come in, they get you tea or cold water, and then when you are ready, you call them over so they can take your order. Nothing fancy - just a simple homey meal. Within 5 minutes, you'll probably get your food. I normally order #29 as a regular bowl. The broth tastes flavorful and fresh. It does not feel strong, pungent, or oily. They also have fresh jalapenos, which is not always offered in other Vietnamese pho restaurants. The menu is still very affordable and you will be satiated once you are done. It's reliable. I've only really been here in the morning so it's practically empty. Overall, very clean and it can get busy during peak hours. It's spacious and there is plenty of room.
